Default Who will the Raiders draft 1st?

Well as of now the Raiders seem like they will be drafting JeMarcus Russell. If they trade Randy Moss to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers then they will most likely draft WR Calvin Johnson or Offensive Lineman Joe Thomas.

If Moss is traded for a QB, then the Raiders should go head and draft Joe Thomas with the 1st pick. They don't need a young WR. They have a great young core of Wide Receivers as it is.

I really hope the Raiders draft JeMarcus Russell though, this kid has some amazing stuff and he is big. He has some good mobility and a strong ass arm.

I don't quite think he breaks the fingers of his Wide Receivers, but I see what your saying.

They should draft Joe Thomas either way. Their line is dreadfull, and they can probably find a suitable QB later in the draft anyway.

I hope not to offend anyone, but my opinion is that Jemarcus Russell will be the next Ryan Leaf, Rick Mirer. I think youd be hard pressed to pass up a player of Calvin Johnsons ability

Why would we be offended by your opinion

Since the Raiders aren't headed anywhere soon, I would much rather take the risk on JeMarcus Russell since we have Randy Moss, Jerry Porter, Ronald Curry, and Doug Gabriel. Great WR core, just no great QB to receive for.

Porter and the Raiders have reportedly set aside their differences.

There was a report today that Moss is going to the Pats. Brady is reworking his contact to find a way to get him.
