"Once [Archuleta] passes the physical, then it will be official," Cerrato said. "Up until that time, nothing is official because if he doesn't pass the physical, then he comes back to us."

It has been reported by the NFL Network that the Redskins would receive a conditional sixth-round draft pick from the Bears in exchange for Archuleta.

So basically it's Archuleta for a 6th round pick, maybe higher depending on his performance next season. I'm happy we decided to trade him for something sinse all he was doing was sitting on the bench due to him being a liability in the passing game. He should be happy though, sitting on the bench while being the, or near the, top paid safety in the NFL. Gotta love the Redskins FA moves.

(I don't know if this goes here or in the NFC East forum, oh well.)

Hopefully Prioleau can rehab from his knee injury and maybe start next year.

Archelta was a poor gamble. Even at the offset everyone said it was the wrong scheme for him. Now, he will become what he was.
